Recora Incorporated is a privately held company based in North Aurora, Illinois, just outside of Chicago, operating from a modern 25,000-square-foot facility. Founded with a focus on pressure-sensitive switch technology, Recora originally served both commercial and specialty markets — including one of our first niche applications: custom kneeler switches for the Catholic Church.

As industries evolved, so did we. Today, Recora specializes in industrial-grade pressure-sensitive mats, ribbon switches, foot-activated treadle pads, electronic controllers, and custom control devices used in safety-critical environments across the U.S. and beyond. Our solutions are engineered to deliver rugged reliability, precise performance, and easy integration — even in the most demanding settings.
