Recora Safety & Presence Detection Mats

Recora Switchmats® are pressure-sensitive, industrial-grade mats used for machine guarding, access control, and presence detection. Built with fully molded vinyl and engineered for durability, these mats are available with molded or aluminum edges, multiple surface types, and a wide range of sizes and wiring configurations. All models comply with ANSI/RIA safety standards.

Molded Ramp Edge – Corrugated Surface (Standard Sizes Only)

Common Features

• Fully molded 3/8″ thick vinyl – resists oil, weld splatter, and liquids
• 10–15 lb. actuation sensitivity across ≥95% of mat surface
• Low voltage operation (24V AC/DC, Class II NEC)
• 4-wire models integrate with Recora FSC-6 Fail-Safe Control Units
• ANSI/RIA compliant – ideal for robotic cells, conveyors, doors, etc.

Note: The maximum mold size is 72" long × 27" wide. All mats with 72" length must be under 27" wide.
